Ronald W. Wohlauer

American, 1947 - 2004

Ronald W. Wohlauer was born in Colorado and spent most of his life there, with the exception of his graduate at Cambridge University and the University of Oregon. While studying at the University of Oregon, he apprenticed with the renowned photographer Brett Weston. He is best remembered for his sweeping black and white landscapes and for his nude portraits, which evoke with curves and shadows the same expansive sense as his landscapes.
