Anne Lindbergh

American, 1940-1993

Anne Spencer Lindbergh was raised in Darien, Connecticut and was the daughter of aviators/authors Charles Lindbergh and Anne Morrow Lindbergh. She was educated at Radcliffe College and at the Sorbonne in Paris. In her career as a writer, Ms. Lindbergh wrote 14 books, most of them for children. She was the recipient of several honors for her work, including an award from the International Reading Association.
