Albert Sixtus was a German children’s book author. He began his successful literary journey as the author of children’s books and books for young readers in 1922 with the publication of fairy tale books. The merry verses of the teacher reached great popularity with the Alfred Hahn’s Verlag Leipzig, where in 1924 his probably most popular picture book Rabbit School with illustrations by Fritz Koch-Gotha was published. With his extensive work, which consists of about 70 titles, Albert Sixtus left his mark on the children’s book tradition at the beginning of the 20th century.
